We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling pets of different breeds and sizes while ensuring their safety, comfort, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Bathe, dry, brush, and groom pets according to breed standards or customer requirements.
Perform hair trimming, clipping, and styling using grooming tools.
Trim nails and clean ears.
Check pets for skin conditions, ticks, fleas, or any visible health concerns and report them to the pet owner.
Handle pets safely and calmly during grooming sessions.
Clean and sanitize grooming equipment and workstations after each appointment.
Maintain a hygienic and safe grooming environment.
Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records.
Recommend suitable grooming products and basic pet care practices to customers.
Ensure excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pet Groomer (preferred).
Knowledge of dog and cat breeds and grooming techniques.
Ability to safely handle pets of different sizes and temperaments.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of pet health and hygiene.
Physically fit and comfortable standing for long hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Pet Grooming is an added advantage.
Experience with breed-specific grooming styles.
Salary
As per experience and interview performance.
Working Hours
8–9 hours per day (Weekly off as per company policy).
