Key Job Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identifying potential residential or commercial clients through cold calling, networking, community events, or referrals.
Site Assessment: Visiting customer locations to evaluate roof space, sunlight exposure, and structural suitability for solar panel installation.
Consultative Selling: Analyzing energy needs and preparing customized proposals that include cost-benefit analyses, financial savings, and government incentives/rebates.
Client Education: Explaining complex technical information (how panels, inverters, and battery backups work) in simple, easy-to-understand language.
Contract & Closing: Negotiating terms, managing paperwork, and guiding the client through the sales cycle to final installation.
Relationship Management: Maintaining contact with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, gather referrals, and provide long-term support.
