Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who has strong expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and a good understanding of other video editing software. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the complete video production process, from understanding the content and creating a video concept to editing, adding graphics, optimizing the video, and preparing it for YouTube.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of how YouTube works, including video formats, audience engagement, thumbnails, titles, retention, trends, and basic YouTube SEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality videos for YouTube, social media, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Handle the complete video editing process from raw footage to final published video.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications effectively.
- Perform video editing tasks including cutting, trimming, transitions, color correction, colour grading, audio editing, and synchronization.
- Create and incorporate motion graphics, animations, text effects, subtitles, captions, and visual effects.
- Design and edit YouTube thumbnails, banners, and other visual assets when required.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, entertaining, and audience-friendly videos.
- Optimize videos for YouTube by understanding titles, descriptions, tags, keywords, thumbnails, and overall presentation.
- Repurpose long-form content into YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content.
- Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and team members while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
